2009 Honda Ruckus - $2,400 - Regina

Doesn't this thing look like a hoot? I've been seriously contemplating buying this very bike. I know the guy who's selling it. I've seen the mods. So close to convincing myself. However, I'm not quite there yet. If you've ever wanted a super low maintenance, low cost scooter, you could do a lot worse!

Seller writes: Asking $2400 OBO. Original owner from Alsport. Park in the tightest spots, great for downtown or the university. Costs $6 to fill up the 5L tank. Plates are about $150 / 6 months. Top speed is in the high 60?s, but you?re not going to want to take this on the Lewvan or East Victoria Avenue. It will hit 60km/h no problem when you?re just bombing around town.

The scooter has been parked, fuel stabilized, battery removed and tarped indoors every winter (tarp included with sale). During riding season the scooter was garaged every night. It has never been laid down or crashed. The oil and gear oil have been changed at least once every season since it rolled out of the dealership.

This bike has been modified slightly from factory condition. All modifications are bolt-on, and serve either aesthetic or ergonomic purposes. I still have all the original OEM equipment that I?ve taken off and will be included in the sale. Please read on for details on the modifications.

I've installed a lowered seat frame rail that moves the seat pan back and down. Not only does it look better,, but it provides extra leg room and puts the handlebars at a more comfortable height for taller riders (I?m 6?3?). The OEM seat frame is also included if this doesn't appeal to you. On the floorboard is a Yoshimura forward control kit. This replaces the stock plastic floorboard and adds highway-style riding posts. These riding posts are not only far more comfortable from the wide stance they provide, but also add legroom to the scooter. The unsightly tail light apparatus has been removed and replaced with an LED brake light with integrated turn signals. The OEM apparatus is included in the purchase. The horn assembly has been moved inside of the battery box, and the turn signals have been relocated to the side of the headlight apparatus to match the European build of the Ruckus. I've also installed an oil drain plug with a magnetic tip to filter the oil.

5,800KM. Call or text me.
