Saskatchewan it is!

Happy Friday!

While back, I had the idea to expand the scope of this here blogito to the entire province. I put up a poll, asking what you thought about the idea. The result: most people seemed pretty open to the idea.

So here it is! Same look, same snide commentary, but...

*ads from the whole province (tell your grandma in Wynyard)

*new domain name (bestofusedregina.blogspot.com will still work: no need to change your bookmark)

*new facebook "like page" (please "like" it!)

Let's get to it. Today's post comes from Holdfast, Saskatchewan. Meet Jacob Ehmann. He's a farrier (definition: a craftsman who trims and shoes horses' hooves), but that's not really what I found interesting.

His website describes all kinds of awesomeness like "riding lessons, trail riding, overnight campouts, and a Bed & Breakfast experience. You can also enjoy volleyball, horseshoes, archery and nightly bonfires." What a great opportunity for us city slickers to get out and see some country.

Certified Farrier writes: Hi my name is Jacob Ehmann, I am a certified Farrier and a qualified horse trainer. All my contact and personal info is on www.jeranch.ca. Call the cell#536-6915 or home#488-4408 for bookings for the new season. thanks.

Certified Farrier / Colt Starting West Regina, Regina

PS: I just realized the phrase "trims and shoes horses' hooves" rhymes.
