Microfiche Viewer

What do you get that special librarian who has it all? Well how about a personal microfiche viewer! Only $10, and it's highly portable, so you'll be glad you bought it at moving time.

The person who placed the ad spelled it "microfische viewer," which almost makes it sound like a contraption for looking at tiny tiny fishes. But no, Mr. Dictionary says fiche, not fische. But that's OK, because fiche isn't a word that comes up in everyday conversation.

Unless you live by the Urban Dictionary. Then pretty much any word could be a daily word.

The UD's *ahem* definition for fiche is: "Can be substituted with the word Guiche. It generally has the same meaning. It is used to mean 'yeah right' or 'as if'. It is a common phrase used by a goivemaster or someone who likes to goive alot of things."

I think Western Civilization just farted.
