I met Cortney once: her kid is on my school bus route. But I had no idea she was a photographer, so it was pretty cool to find her ad on UsedRegina.
Cortney wants free and/or cheap material that she can use for her photography and business. The following is a sample of her work (from the ad) and the kind of material she's looking for. Help her out! She mentions that she's looking for cool/creepy/weird locations to shoot in, and I know some of the followers of this blog have some of that. (I'm thinking the basement of the Bartleman? And the Williamson?)
Cortney writes: I'm looking for the following for FREE or very cheap
scraps of carpet or lino at least 6 feet x 6 feet as a "floor" to shoot on
Awesome old curtains, you know the ones, the scary ones your grandparents still have.
panel board (2 panels for a "wall"
any cool retro dresses, hats. gloves. pants etc you might want to part with for the sake of fun art!
*** ALSO If you donate stuff AND want a pin-up shoot of your own I'll give you a 10% discount
*** If you have some sort of AMAZING location I could shoot in (creepy bedroom :) retro basement etc..) I'd love to see it
