Poster writes: So I've got this bus. It's got a big roof rack, 8 beds, seating for 10 with a diesel engine and an automatic transmission and it's going to Burning Man! We are currently looking for additional people to share the costs of running the bus there and back. Right now we figure it will cost at the most $370 per person, taking into account insurance, registration, fuel, and some other miscellaneous costs. I say "at the most" because the fuel cost was calculated based on last year's fuel rate but using Saskatoon's current fuel price and we know it will be cheaper as we get further south.
Will be leaving Saskatoon on the 25th of August, pass through Regina and other cities on the way for pick ups and be back in Saskatchewan by Sept. 5th. So if you are interested, please free to send me an email. And also, we're looking to set up the Bus as a co-op so that means in the near future you (who will become a member) will be able to use the bus for your own functions if you like, and have to pay only a per km wear and tear fee and fuel.
