Tim writes: Tim Siekawitch began his employment with the City of Regina, Saskatchewan in the Parks Department. Working his way, up he was promoted to the City's Equipment Coordinator who managed millions of dollars worth of maintenance equipment, including trucks and loaders. Further moving ahead at work, he was elected twice to the Union Executive, and then eventually promoted to Engineer Assistant. Siekawitch is a certified Union Councilor, a commendated Department of Justice drug and alcohol councilor, a community volunteer legal professional, a volunteer to the music and arts societies, a songwriter, and artist. And he is especially fond of his international reputation in the small arena of professionals known as audio mastering engineers, and of the assistance he has given to Sterling Sound in New York and to others in this specialized field. Politically astute and aware of the change to the world's character, and increasing despair caused by financial segregation and erosion of people's rights and freedoms, Siekawitch plans to restore and introduce new freedoms in Regina, severing the City from the old boys networks, and restoring transparency to City Hall.
